Brazilian Bioinputs Hub

Embassy of Brazil in Buenos Aires · August 25–26, 2026

Brazil & Argentina Mission on Bioinputs

Brazil has established itself as one of the world’s leading hubs for innovation in tropical agriculture. In recent years, the continued growth in the adoption of bioinputs in the field (row crops, fruits and vegetables, among others) has demonstrated the country’s ability to develop and scale nature-based solutions that combine productivity, sustainability, and international competitiveness.

In this context, renera – Brazilian Bioinputs Hub was created as an initiative developed by CropLife Brasil in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), with the aim of positioning Brazil as a global reference in bioinputs, promoting the internationalization of Brazilian solutions, and expanding opportunities for exports and strategic partnerships.

The initiative also seeks to strengthen scientific and regulatory cooperation between countries while connecting science, the productive sector, markets, and public policies to drive sustainable innovation in agriculture.

Overview: Argentina

Argentina stands out as a strategic market for the advancement of bioinputs. Driven by the pursuit of greater productivity, sustainability, and adaptation to global environmental requirements, the sector is experiencing steady growth, with an average projected growth rate of 5.9% per year through 2030.

As one of Latin America’s leading agricultural hubs, the country brings together a relevant ecosystem of companies, distributors, research centers, and producers interested in sustainable solutions. Currently, the adoption of bioinputs is still primarily concentrated on microbial inoculants for soybean cultivation, revealing significant potential for diversification into other crops. At the same time, Argentina is advancing the development of new legislation for the sector, including a redefinition of the concept of biosolutions.

In this context, holding an event at the Embassy of Brazil in Buenos Aires aims to strengthen bilateral dialogue and explore opportunities for scientific, regulatory, and commercial cooperation in bioinputs, bringing the agricultural innovation ecosystems of both countries closer together.
