Renera Promotes Business Matchmaking and Technical Visits During Gaffff – Global Agribusiness Festival

Renera – Brazilian Bioinputs Hub, an initiative of CLB (CropLife Brasil) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), took part in Gaffff – Global Agribusiness Festival, held on October 1 and 2 in São Paulo. The program brought together Brazilian companies, international buyers from Colombia, and journalists from Ireland and Brazil for an agenda dedicated to promoting Brazilian bioinputs, including a business matchmaking session, technical visits organized by ApexBrasil, and institutional meetings.

During the event, Renera coordinated a Business Matchmaking Session with three Brazilian companies — Agrivalle, Koppert, and Vittia — and two Colombian buyers, strengthening business opportunities and expanding the international presence of biological solutions produced in Brazil.

The technical visits, organized by ApexBrasil, took international and Brazilian journalists to the facilities of Gênica and Koppert, where they were able to learn about technologies, production processes, and innovation strategies in the bioinputs sector.

Companies highlight opportunities and technological advances

For Vinicius Lopes, commercial director at Koppert, the occasion underscores Brazil’s potential in the international market:

“Koppert has more than 60 years of expertise, combined with Brazil’s experience in using biological control in open fields as an alternative to chemical solutions. For this reason, we believe we can offer international buyers sustainable and efficient solutions.”

Vittia’s director of innovation and new business, Edgar Zanotto, highlighted the event’s strategic role:

“This event presents major opportunities for the company, as it allows us to showcase its new technologies while expanding its international presence alongside Renera.”

Representing the Colombian market, Santiago Jimenez of AGSE – Agricultura y Servicios emphasized the interest in Brazilian solutions:

“I am very happy to be in Brazil for this Business Matchmaking Session, as we have been able to discover new technologies and products that are ideal both for the company and for the Colombian market as a whole.”
